Building Complexity: Advanced Handbuilding
This course is designed for ceramic artists who are interested in advancing hand-building skills. This in-person course will include demonstrations of advanced hand-building at the artist’s studio, glazing and firing techniques, and critique. An optional reading will be sent out to students that will spark a deeper level of thinking about why we make. For critique, we will discuss where your work fits into contemporary art history. Some experience in clay is advised.
