Building Complexity: Advanced Handbuilding
This course is designed for ceramic artists who are interested in advancing hand-building skills. This in-person course will include demonstrations of advanced hand-building at the artist’s studio, glazing and firing techniques, and critique. An optional reading will be sent out to students that will spark a deeper level of thinking about why we make. For critique, we will discuss where your work fits into contemporary art history. Some experience in clay is advised.
The class will gather beginning at 5pm on the first day of the course at my studio in Wellsville, NY.
- Fall Session I: Oct 23rd to 25th $550

- Spring Session II: Apr 16th to 25th $1100
